So, after a long weekend LAST weekend I decided that I could not go another three days of being inside with my children. After they started complaining about being bored I dressed them up nice and warm and headed out on a long winter's walk with them. We walked from our house to Movies on Main, then to McDonald's (and back to Movies on Main since I forgot my wallet there - then back to McDonald's) and then back home. It was a long walk - and it was filled with more than a handful of complaints. It was worth it, however, because our house has been quiet and calm ever since we got back.
They did really well until the last four blocks ... then there were tears :(
It was all worth it though!
