Visiting Old Friends

Aaron had a tournament to scout players this weekend in Wausau and we were lucky enough to be able to join him ... this meant we were close enough to our old friends Megan and Jonathan Pyatskowit and their children, JJ, Elise, and baby Seth, to visit for a day! We enjoyed beautiful weather on Saturday and were able to go for a walk in Megan's new hometown of Shawano, WI.

The first place we walked was the doughnut shop! The kids were so excited to see each other they held hands the whole way (except JJ, who was soooo excited about his friends that he had a ton of energy to run).

We also stopped at two parks on the way home ... Madeline LOVES to get an "around the world" push on the tire swing :) Benny has really missed Elise ... he affectionately calls her "Esie-buggy" and I think he actually has come to believe that that is her real name!


The kids also had time to chill out and watch a movie. Benny decided that Megan has the best treat in the whole world ... blue popsicles!

In fact, he liked them so much that he had three!

One of the most exciting aspects of our visit was being able to meet the newest Pyatskowit ... baby Seth. He is a very happy baby and is so adorable with his red hair!
